Bishop Josh and Pastor Bobbi Sarmiento are the Senior Pastors and founders of Ignite Ministries, serving with a deep passion for people, restoration, and the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. As experienced church planters, Pastors Josh and Bobbi previously pastored and planted a church in Cleveland, Tennessee. When God later called them to Florida, they believed that season of church planting had passed. But as they would soon discover, you can’t outrun the call of God on your life.
 

The Call Reignited

After relocating to Florida, Pastors Josh and Bobbi faithfully served and hosted a simple Wednesday night Bible study for several years. Then came one of the hardest seasons of their lives - the devastating loss of their son, Zion. In the midst of grief, heartbreak, and rebuilding their lives, God spoke clearly: It was time. On August 7, 2022, Ignite Ministries held its first Sunday service, marking the birth of a church forged through prayer, obedience, and perseverance.
 

A Life of Ministry

Bishop Josh is an ordained Bishop, a preacher’s kid, and has known he was called to ministry since the age of 14. In his professional role, Josh is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and the owner of Ignite Community Counseling and Resource Center, where he is passionate about supporting healing and wholeness in the community. Pastor Bobbi, also a preacher’s kid, famously said she never wanted to be a pastor - a reminder that God truly does have a sense of humor.  Professionally, Bobbi serves as a Regional Sales & Marketing Director within the senior living industry.

Together, Josh and Bobbi have 3 boys (Angel 22, Josiah 16 and Zion - in heaven) and have served in ministry for over 22 years, faithfully working side by side as:

Their ministry is marked by authenticity, compassion, and a deep reliance on the presence of God.
 

From PAIN to Purpose

After walking through their darkest season and losing nearly everything, Josh and Bobbi now live as a testimony of God’s redeeming power. Their mission flows directly from Isaiah 61 - Rebuild. Restore. Renew. They carry a God-given mandate to make heaven crowded, one soul at a time.
 

The Heart of Ignite

Ignite Ministries is a place where God continually brings people who are broken, weary, and without hope - and restores them better than new. Josh and Bobbi believe deeply: If God can do it for us, He can do it for you too. Ignite is not just a church - it’s a living testimony of resurrection, healing, and new beginnings.
