Purpose of the Armor Bearer Ministry
The Armor Bearer Ministry exists to support and serve the leadership of Ignite Ministries with excellence, humility, and integrity. This ministry functions behind the scenes to help ensure that services, events, and ministry moments flow smoothly and without distraction.
Armor Bearers serve as trusted helpers - covering leadership in prayer, service, and practical support.

What Armor Bearers Do
Members of the Armor Bearer Ministry may assist with:

Supporting pastors and leadership during services and events

Preparing and maintaining the altar and worship environment
-
Assisting with transitions, seating, and ministry flow
-
Providing prayer coverage before, during, and after services
-
Helping ensure order, reverence, and readiness
The Heart of an Armor Bearer
Armor Bearers are called to:
-
Serve with humility and discretion
-
Walk in unity with leadership and ministry teams
-
Maintain a prayerful, submitted spirit
-
Protect the atmosphere of worship
-
Lead by example in character and faithfulness
This ministry is not about visibility, but faithful service.
Training & Requirements
To serve as an Armor Bearer, individuals must:

Complete Armor Bearer training
-
Be an active member or consistent attendee of Ignite Ministries
-
Walk in spiritual maturity and integrity
-
Demonstrate a heart for service and submission
Additional background checks or safety training may be required depending on responsibilities.
